For Prospective Freshmen and Family Members

One of the best ways to find out if the USC Viterbi School is right for you is to visit our campus! Walk around, talk with students and get a feel for the area – both as a place to study and a place to live. We understand that a college education is a lifetime investment and we want to make sure you find a college that’s the right fit for you. We have created several opportunities for you to check out USC and the Viterbi School.

Before making travel arrangements for any of the listed programs, please be sure to arrange a reservation or appointment as listed for each program.

While You are in LA

If you are looking for a place to stay during your visit, check out our list of hotels near USC. Once you have a place to stay, make the very best of your time in L.A. by eating at one of the restaurants from our list of favorite places to eat near USC.

This half day program is designed for you and your family members as the most comprehensive and recommended way to learn about Engineering at USC. Meet USC includes an information session on the University and the Admission process, a student led walking tour of campus and a meeting with us in the Viterbi School. Meet USC is designed to answer all of your questions about USC, the application process and financial aid.

The Meet USC program runs most Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays throughout the year.

Reservations are required for Meet USC. Please visit the Meet USC reservation website to check availability and to make an appointment. Be sure to tell them you are interested in Engineering! Due to occasional conflicts with other on-campus events, Meet USC may not always be available.

Discover USC & Engineering Expo

The Discover USC program will take place on USC’s campus on Sunday, November 20, 2011. This full day program will provide you and your family with an opportunity to meet staff from the Offices of Admission, Financial Aid and The Viterbi School of Engineering, in addition to current Viterbi students and faculty.

The Engineering Expo is an open house for our students, faculty and staff to showcase the numerous opportunities to get involved in the Viterbi School of Engineering. We will host information sessions about academic services and provide tours of the labs used by our undergraduate student design teams and research projects.

USC in your Hometown!

The University understands that not everyone may have the opportunity or means to visit our campus before applying to and/or actually attending USC. So, the next best thing to visiting USC itself if for us to bring USC to you.

In the Fall, USC hosts a number of receptions across the country for prospective students and their families. Check our Off Campus Events page for more information.
