Financial Aid & Scholarships

Undergraduate financial aid includes scholarships and grants, low-interest loans and work-study.  Although we expect tech student's family to play a leading role in financing a college education, USC has a long tradition of fully meeting the USC-determined financial need for undergraduate students who satisfy all federal, state and university eligibility requirements and meet all published deadlines.

International students who are not U.S. citizens or eligible non-citizens cannot recieve certain types of financial aid. However, other sources of aid are available.

How to Apply for Aid

To apply for financial aid you must submit the financial aid Profile, FAFSA and Federal Tax Returns - additional documentation may be requested by the USC Financial Aid Office. It is very important to apply for admission and financial aid concurrently. We suggest that you submit your FAFSA and PROFILE around the same time that you submit your application for admission. This facilitates timely notification of your financial aid award.

You can submit your financial aid documents after the deadlines. Submitting these documents after the deadline, however, can significantly delay USC's ability to notify you of your financial award in a timely fashion.
